There are a few:
(1) Lutheran Campus Ministry at George Mason University is a young community seeking to discover how to live and share God's loving grace on a large and diverse campus of mostly commuter students. More info at http://gmu.edu/org/lutheran
(2) The Chuch of the Common Table is a small community that meets most Sundays in a small coffee shop/concert venue to probe questions and share in communion. At least one weekend each month, we intentionally break the routine by replaceing our "worship service" with "service worship", where we as an entire community do a project for those outside our community. More info at http://commontable.org
(3) The Lutheran Church of the Abiding Presence reminds me of the church I grew up with back in Ohio. More info at http://abidingpresence.net/
What are the most pressing questions (both theological and practical) you and your community have?
Forming community on a commuter campus where people want to be home (or need to be at work) if they aren't in class...
