I am wondering some of the same stuff as I try to reach out to a 20 or 30 something group within the congregation but thinking it will not stay within the congregation or the building... I am not sure how they will respond or where it will go.. but…

- I am a Lutheran pastor who has been exploring what in means to be contemplative in terms of an open stance to what is and missional in terms of leadership.

- I have been reading in this area and apprciating the ways the old practices are reemerging for a whole new generation as a seek ways to move a congregation and a parish beyond the boundaries they now inhabit.

- I serve a congregation that is in a small town south of Youngstown, Ohio where we are struggling with what it will mean for us to be a missional community.
- What are the most pressing questions (both theological and practical) you and your community have?
- Staying focused on the elements that need to come into being as new missional communities begin to emerge. What is practical for us to use/ what do we have to create for ourselves? How do we stay connected to the large picture of what is emerging?
