I am wondering some of the same stuff as I try to reach out to a 20 or 30 something group within the congregation but thinking it will not stay within the congregation or the building... I am not sure how they will respond or where it will go.. but…

How did I get into "emerging ministry"?
I have been reading in this area and apprciating the ways the old practices are reemerging for a whole new generation as a seek ways to move a congregation and a parish beyond the boundaries they now inhabit.

I serve a congregation that is in a small town south of Youngstown, Ohio where we are struggling with what it will mean for us to be a missional community.
What are the most pressing questions (both theological and practical) you and your community have?
Staying focused on the elements that need to come into being as new missional communities begin to emerge. What is practical for us to use/ what do we have to create for ourselves? How do we stay connected to the large picture of what is emerging?
