This is off the wall, perhaps too much so... but then I am not a pastor. :)
1. I wonder if there is too much emphasis on convenience and meeting people where they are at in a physical sense. Certainly to the dechurched, a traditional church buildin…

How did I get into "emerging ministry"?
Somehow I think the label fell on what I was doing? I didnt know it existed, until I was researching something, and the label kept coming up over and over again.
Say a little bit about the community you share life with...
Its new, its online, its far different than I expected it to be... It seems when you throw prohibitions to the wind, and open the doors to discussion, doubt, and searching, a certain commonality amongst great diversity starts to emerge.
What are the most pressing questions (both theological and practical) you and your community have?
Reaching out and ministry to the de-churched is my biggest concern. There are so many Christians out there, who have thrown church out with the bathwater, yet they love Jesus with a huge passion. The thing is, for many, egads if I were in their shoes, I would have not only thrown it out, but told it to go die in a fire. Be that as it may, I dont see that I could do much to "fix" the ills of the "church". But I do somehow some way want to reach out and minister to those who have left the church far behind.

Hi Ron - Nice to see you here. I'm glad you enjoy my blog & I've been by mnphysicist from time to time as well! Anyone with an interest in physics and theology is someone I'd like to keep in touch with. Otherwise, how will I ever have an excuse to say fun things like anthropic principle? But you hardly ever write about physics it seems. What's up with that? ;)
